Mine Infrastructure and Contract Mining Services for a 14,000t per day operation for Sierra Rutile in Sierra Leone
Sea wall reconstruction and rehabilitation of the Commonwealth War Graves cemetery in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
Projects previously delivered by DIG IG Management Team whilst working for Dawnus:
Several bridges of differing types, including RC and modular steel structures. Projects included the first use of modular steel abutments in Africa and the longest single span steel modular bridge of its kind in the world.
Main Civil Works associated with the rehabilitation of an existing Hydropower Plant; including structural concrete, demolition, pre-cast concrete production, dam construction and building works.
Several million tonnes of materials drilled, blasted and processed to meet Project specific requirements.
Construction of a 50km rail and road path for a mineral sand dredging operation.
Project involving installation of infrastructure for a multi million tonne iron ore mine and processing plant, including design and construction of RC foundations, RC Weirs, pre-cast concrete works, reinforced soil walls, traditional earth tailings dams and several kilometres of roads including corrugated steel culverts
A civil engineering project involving structural concrete, structural steel installations, train load out structures and several km’s of HDPE pipe installation
A 36 month contract to carry out the surface mining to meet the Clients’ 3.6MTpa requirement.
